Association for Social Economics Membership
The Association for Social Economics considers it primary aim the support of research and scholarship in social economic issues. In pursuit of this aim, the Association sponsors many activities. These include the William Waters Research Grant for promising scholars and the summer school fellowship grants for a few selected promising graduates students. We sponsor the World Congress for Social Economics every two - three years to bring together scholars from all over the world to share their research and ideas. ASE, as a founding member of ASSA, organizes several sessions at the ASSA meetings each January. We present a plenary session on the evening before the sessions begin with an outstanding plenary speaker and a reception which is open to any ASSA participant. We publish two journals - the Review of Social Economy and the Forum for Social Economics. We invite you to join us as a member.
Membership includes subscriptions to our journals as well as on-line access to past issues of both journals. Copies of specific articles can be downloaded with no charge to members. Membership is required for paper presentations in the ASSA sessions organized by ASE and in the sessions at the World Congress.
Most importantly, we want you to join us to help in fulfilling our purpose - to support and promote research in social economic issues.
