The Association for Social Economics organizes and participates in several conferences each year.

The World Congress of Social Economics is organized and sponsored by the Association for Economics every other year.  The next meeting is scheduled for June 20-22, 2012 at the University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Scotland.  A new Summer School in Social Economics has been organized to meet right before this meeting in Glasgow.  Please click on the appropriate links for more information.

ASE Sessions at the ASSA Meetings - ASE organizes eight to nine sessions to meet at the ASSA meetings each January.  The opening plenary session and reception is held on the evening before the first day of the ASSA conference.  The Annual General Membership Meeting of ASE is always held at this time.  The breakfast for the presentation of our annual awards and the Presidential Address by the outgoing president is also held at the ASSA meetings.

Regional Economic Conferences - The Regional Directors of ASE organize sessions at various regional conferences.  Some of these are annual events.  These include the annual conferences by the Southern Economic Association, The Eastern Economic Association, the Midwestern Economic Association and the Western Economic Association International.  There are also opportunities for participation in other meetings of interest.  When we have information on these meetings, the Calls for Papers and other information will be made available in this area of the web site.
