As most people now prefer to access journals online, the ASE has agreed on new subscription terms with Taylor & Francis, the publisher of the Review of Social Economy and Forum for Social Economics, beginning January 1, 2020. ASE Members can access current issues and full archives of the journals through the Members Area of the ASE website, but will no longer automatically receive print copies. If you would like to be alerted by email when new online issues become available, access the journals through the Members Area and then (from the website for each journal) sign up for “New content alerts.”
However, if your membership spans January 1, 2020 and you prefer print copies, you may choose to continue to receive print issues for the duration of your current membership term at no additional cost to you. Please contact Chris Jeffords, ASE Executive Secretary, at if you would like to take advantage of this option. Your response is needed by January 10, 2020 if all print issues are to reach you without delay.
New and renewing members will, as of January 1, find that membership dues have been reduced, reflecting the fact that the ASE will no longer be paying for journal printing and mailing. Members who would like to have print as well as online access will have the option of subscribing at the special members-only rate of US$68 for both journals in print or $34 for an individual journal in print. (Instructions are in the “Journal Access” section of the Members Area.)
